What do you like best about this course?:

YOU ARE SO FUNNY!

Vidit is wonderful all around. He explains things very well and will repeat himself as many times as you need because he really wants you to understand. He's also funny and interactive so you aren't bored out of your mind.

Thw way in which the information was given, it seems like a very hard subject, but when presented in the right manner it is managable.

Great explanations, learned a lot from the recitation.

The material and the instructors

Vidit is an enthusiastic TA, that taught very well.

It is alot easier than calc2 and is a somewhat complicated version of calc1.

This was my most helpful calculus recitation I have had yet at Rutgers.

Variety of interesting topics.

Vidit makes each recitation very interesting and lively. He explains the topic and answers questions very effectively and keeps the class interested.

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently?:

nothing, he is doing great

Get rid of maple labs, they seems to have a loose connection to the material.

NO MAPLE LABS

Perhaps take some hw requests from students but besides that everything else was phenomenal.

Nothing.

Switch to Matlab. Personal opinion since engineers already take an intro course for it. Either that or I feel there should be more effort put into learning Maple. I've taken nothing away from this course in regards to that.

In what ways, if any, has this course or the instructor encouraged your intellectual growth and progress?:

Vidit has made me want to continue with my thoughts of being a math major, he makes a very hard course simpler.

He has shown that advanced mathematics is very manageble.

I thought the recitation instructor was really good at keeping the students engaged and I thought he was more understanding about the students needs. Also he was really funny!

Instructor taught me the importance and ease with which something can be derived and how that makes using formulas so much easier. No need to memoriZe formulas.

Vidit was very helpful and has great knowledge of the course material. He helped me understand all the material that was sometimes hard to grip in lecture.

You taught the material very clear and concisely, it was fun to learn and attend recitation. thanks!

Vidit is hands down the best TA i have ever had at rutgers, most useful, effecient and overall just cares that you understand things and truly wants everyone to do well. He gives extended office hours of three hours every day for four days before the exam even though he has his own classwork for his own classes to do, he has really shown that he cares about the well being of his students.

YOU DA MANNNN V-money!!!!! i award you 64trillion meaningless points for your teaching this semester

Best TA ever by far that I've had. He's very approachable and friendly. He makes the class fun and educational at the same time.
